Numerical Simulation of Wormhole Propagation with Foamed-Viscoelastic-Surfactant Acid in Carbonate Acidizing

چکیده

Successful matrix acidizing for extremely thick carbonate reservoirs with long horizontal well sections and strong heterogeneity requires efficient temporary plugging diverting of acid fluid, ensuring fluid distribution to each production layer. Foamed-viscoelastic-surfactant (Foamed-VES) combines the benefits both foam viscoelastic surfactant (VES) acid, integrating viscous plugging. It can achieve uniform in highly heterogeneous reservoirs. However, little research has been conducted on wormhole propagation law foamed-VES acid. To address this gap, study established a mathematical model based dual-scale model. The was coupled random porosity generated geological statistical software. effects different factors etching were simulated. Numerical results show that stimulate low-permeability permeability differential 20. Its inherent mechanism lies synergy VES This enhances our understanding diversion providing theoretical foundation on-site treatment.
